I received it earlier than expected, my child loved this birthday gift!
The STEM Robot building kit is an all inclusive set with lots of lego style pieces, remote and mobile app to configure it. The quality of pieces is good and fun to play with for kids and young adults. The instructions are clear, aiding in the assembly process. However, the app interface could be more intuitive. This was great for the kids to develop interest in robotics and science and keep them engaged for 4-5 hours.
Overall the robotic building kit was an excellent experience and educational.
Really fun to build and an aboslute joy to have beside your computer when it's finished, this makes a really fun toy to play with or just to look at once it's built. I really love that it's customizable, and you can remote control it with your phone. I think it would make a great gift for anyone, and if you're looking into it, I think it would make a nice self care present as well. Definitely recommend.
I'm almost 40 and got this as a surprise for my girlfriend and I to build together. She was so excited and wanted to call him Johnny 5. The build was decent but about 3/4 of the way through ran out of a specific part in a specific color as called for by the instructions. Turns out there is a shortage of that part in black but they included enough in gray to finish so be prepared for that. Also robot is much faster than anticipated so takes a little bit to learn how control well
