This was a challenging set to build, but it was so cool once finished!

Great learning tool

My grandson lives this. He's one of those children that likes to know what makes things tick. This STEM kit will absolutely educate him in coding and building. All parts are included. The quality is good. He understood the instructions & was thrilled with his functional creation!

This is very well made and complex to build

The STEM Robot Building Set has a huge number of part and a great set of instructions for building 3 different robots.

I really liked the parts and the contruction of the kit. However, when I sat my 9 year old grandson down to help me build it, it appeared to be too complicated for him to manage.

I worked with him for an hour and we got about 10% of the kit together.

I think this kit would be good for kids that were older than the 8-12years. i would suggest 10-14 or older. I would also recomment that this would only be good for kids that have exelled in bilding and experimenting with other mechanical projects.

The tolal time to build this kit would be about 3-4 hours.

So the kit pieces fit well and the instructions were clear and well made. So for the right kids this would be an awesome kit.

A fun learning exercise or hobby kit. Fun design, sound effects, and functional eyes & movement.

The range and complexity of building block kits continues to improve. This is a fun kit to build in spare time, and potentially also a fun learning exercise. Nice vibrant colors and a fun overall aesthetic/design. Really neat that the end result is actually functional in contrast to your typical building block kits which can only serve as a display when complete. This is essentially a build it yourself RC vehicle. It is mobile, has digital eyes, and sound effects. The SFX can be a bit much but thankfully you can control whether you want to endure the sounds or not. They were an impressive inclusion but could be a bit much when the novelty wears off. This isn't going to wow you if you are into advanced RC vehicles, but it is a really fun feature to have been included and works relatively well enough. Instructions are more or less just visual, so little to no language barrier or reading to worry about.

- Includes a decent quality colored instruction manual.
- Simple building block style kit.

- Fun learning or spare time exercise.
- Vibrant colors.

Dislikes:
- The sound (optional) can be a bit much after the novelty wears off.
- Smaller kit, so unfortunately you're finished before you know it, and needing another set.

Cool robot

My Son's Sillbird stem robot is pretty cool. Its a 3 in 1 set for different play. Helps learn and understand basic coding. Its easily controlled with the remote or app. It even has different sound modes. Its challenging and fun great for kids 8 and up.
